If your blood alcohol content is .20 or higher, maximum jail times and fines will apply.  Your license will be revoked for 2 years with a restricted license (back and forth to work) available after the 1st year.  You may loose your vehicle.  You will be ordered by the court to go to DUI school.  If you caused any individual physical harm or loss, you will be ordered to pay restitution to that person. There is a $600 minimum fine and a $3,500 maximum fine. The judge has the authority to order you to install, at your expense, an ignition interlock device. The judge may also require you to obtain drug and alcohol treatment. In many cases, counting towing, bail, court costs, DUI school, license reinstatement fees, attorney fees, SR-22 car insurance, and an ignition interlock device, your costs will add up to over $8,000.00
